Privacy Policy

How Green Valley handles customer information.

Effective date: September 2, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Green Valley Waste Solutions LLC (“Green Valley,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, protects, and retains information through greenvalleywaste.com, customer enrollment, billing, service-area review, waitlist, and related residential trash and recycling operations.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

  • name, email address, and telephone number;
  • service address, unit information, Google place identifier, latitude, and longitude;
  • preferred start date, service instructions, selected plan, and marketing source;
  • customer reference, enrollment status, service status, collection schedule, and account history;
  • payment method type, Stripe customer/subscription references, transaction amounts, payment status, refund status, and billing events; and
  • essential session, security, request, device, and diagnostic information generated when the website is used.

3. Payment information

Stripe processes card, bank, Link, and related payment information. Green Valley’s application is designed not to store raw card numbers, bank-account numbers, or online-banking credentials. Stripe may independently collect and use transaction and payment information under the Stripe Privacy Policy.

4. Address validation and Google Maps Platform

We use Google Maps Platform and Places features to suggest and validate addresses and support serviceability decisions. Information entered into address features may be processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and applicable Google Maps terms. We store the selected address components, coordinates, and place identifier needed to operate the service.

5. How we use information

We use information to:

  • determine service eligibility and conduct manual address reviews;
  • create and administer enrollments, customer accounts, collection service, and waitlists;
  • calculate charges, process payments and refunds, reconcile Stripe events, and prevent duplicate billing;
  • send enrollment, payment, renewal, cancellation, refund, waitlist, and service communications;
  • provide customer support and maintain operational, accounting, audit, and legal records;
  • protect the website, detect misuse or fraud, troubleshoot failures, and improve reliability; and
  • comply with law, legal process, and legitimate government requests.

6. How we disclose information

We may disclose information to service providers that perform functions for us, including Stripe for payments, Google for address services, Resend for transactional email, Render and database providers for hosting, and error-monitoring or security providers when configured. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, insurers, auditors, law enforcement, regulators, or parties to a business transaction when reasonably necessary and legally permitted.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not use enrollment or payment information for third-party behavioral advertising.

7. Cookies and similar technology

The application uses essential cookies and similar technical storage for session continuity, security, CSRF protection, and enrollment flow. These functions are necessary for the website to operate. The current MVP does not use third-party behavioral-advertising cookies.

8. Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide service, manage billing and disputes, prevent fraud, maintain operational and financial records, satisfy tax, accounting, legal, and regulatory obligations, and enforce agreements. Customer and billing histories may be deactivated rather than immediately deleted where retention is required for those purposes. Waitlist or incomplete-enrollment information may be removed when no longer reasonably needed.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including HTTPS, restricted administrative access, server-side validation, signed payment webhooks, rate limiting, and separation of raw payment credentials from the Green Valley application. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Your choices and requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your Green Valley account, subject to identity verification and legal or operational retention requirements. You may also update payment information through the available Stripe billing portal. Requests may be sent to greenvalleywaste.pa@gmail.com.

11. Children

The service is intended for adults arranging residential waste service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Policy updates

We may update this Policy as services, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice of material changes when required by law.

13. Contact

Privacy questions or requests may be sent to Green Valley Waste Solutions LLC at greenvalleywaste.pa@gmail.com.
